How to convert your file

Best for transparency, crisp graphics, and a lossless output from a source the browser can decode.

JPG

Best for opaque photographs and destinations that value broad compatibility.

WebP

Useful for modern web delivery when an efficient still-image file is the priority.

Browser support

Input support is determined by the browser decoder. A listed extension is not a promise that every variant of that format will open.

Output check

Do not rely on the filename alone. Open the download, confirm its reported format and pixel dimensions, and test transparency when expected; a successful preview of the source does not guarantee the destination accepts the export.

Before you download

• Some TIFF, ICO, AVIF, GIF, and unusually encoded files are not decoded consistently across browsers.
• The page exports PNG, JPG, and WebP; it does not claim to create TIFF, ICO, JPEG 2000, RAW, or animated files.
• Very large images can exceed the memory available to a browser tab.
